Natural Organic Products - How Love Meets Passion
Located in the North East of Calgary, Organic Cosmetics was founded in 1990 by Dr. James Olusoji, Ph.D. (a doctor of Industrial Chemistry). The company was born out of a passion for the woman he loved, to protect her skin from the cancer-causing substances in many inorganic cosmetics in the market. At Organic Cosmetics, our belief is that it is better to be safe than to be sorry.
How we got started
In the late 1988, Dr. James' wife had some skin irritation based on some inorganic cosmetics that she bought. Being an industrial chemist, his first reaction was to check the component of his wife's newly bought cosmetics. He was baffled when he realized that most of the ingredients in the cosmetic were toxic and carcinogenic. He decided to conduct some research on the existing organic cosmetics in the market. He realized that although there were some natural cosmetics, he knew the products could be better. After two years of research, Organic Cosmetics was born to take care of the inadequacies in the existing products.
Organic Cosmetics is a safe and natural product that simulates and accelerates the skin's natural healing process. It is a safe alternative to harmful inorganic products. We’ve created a simple functional formulas which is kept safe from microbial contamination. The efficacy of the product has been proven in the rejuvenation and restoration of over-stressed and dehydrated skin. We strive to use as many natural, vegetable-derived ingredients as possible.
